USA Soccer and Spring Roll Making
First, food...
My Little Friend and I cooked spring rolls tonight! The preparation took much longer than I expected but we were left with much more food than we could eat in one sitting (maybe even two sittings). Ingredients included cucumber, two types of mango, two differently seasoned pork, noodles, peanut sauce that included hoisin sauce, and shrimp. It's definitely something I would not even think about cooking alone; cooking alone is terrible! It's must simpler having multiple people cook. Having someone else to suggest what to cook also helps cooking out of my comfort zone too.

There was even enough food to make multiple noodle bowls!

On to the World Cup.
Team USA almost completed an amazing comeback against Portugal. While Portugal did eventually tie it up at 2 in the 94th minute, it was still an amazing game; that last goal was a beauty by Portugal (what a pass by Ronaldo). That last second goal left my Facebook and Twitter silent for much longer than I had expected. While devastating, it's the reason why we love sports: the emotional roller-coaster.
Though I'm not the biggest fan of the sport of soccer, it's wonderful how the players walk onto the field with kids. So much symbolism...
