The Voice
I don't know if everyone thinks of the same thing about their own voice but it sounds much better in my head. When I hear my voice from a video or anything similar, I hate my voice. After listening to it, I appreciate everyone that has to listen to it and how they don't complain. It's strange that I never hear when my Chinese accent hits my English, even though I learn it does make an appearance once in a while. While I wouldn't probably change my voice since it does make who I am, if I had to, I would change it to Don LaFontaine's (The video on top). The original epic voice before the famous Morgan Freeman's amazing voice.
It's magnificent how voices seem so distinct. The frequency seems to be different in everyone's voice. And with tone, voices are like snow flakes, no one is the same. It's interesting how impressions of people, like John Madden or George W. Bush, can be distinguished so easily.
It's was also interesting that people change their voice depending on the situation. I've notice some guys lower their voices to strangers and some ladies make their voice smoother. Maybe it's just natural to try to make an impression. It's certainly interesting (I'm sure studies have been done).
