Waiting for the world to... Well a flight.

As I wait for my flight at the Atlanta airport, I have a few things in my mind. One of the things is the desire to watch Drumline starring the talented Nick Cannon. This happens every time I have a layover here. But who wouldn't want to watch Drumline? It's one of the few movies where I can watch it many times and not get bored with it.
Another thought is how many amenities airports have. Shoe shining, spas, free cell phone rooms (I don't know what that exactly is), convenience stores, jewelry stores, electronic stores, and even solicitors for credit cards! It is quite the place, you could live here by no one would want to since it would mean your flight may be delayed. It makes quite the business to take advantage of strenuous layover times and flight delays (like the one I am in). Many are going or coming back from vacations, the high prices of airport food and services will only increase the cost of the vacation. I guess everyone wins since the consumers get the services while they wait for the flight since they can't go anywhere anyways. Maybe I'll get my pair of Adidas shined then a nice massage!
