Walk it off!

So it's been nine weeks since I first started recording the number of steps I take each day. I had over 768,000 steps! That's over 12,000 steps a day! Or about 5.5 miles a day! Which I think is great since I probably average around 1600 steps at work per day. This meant I had to get my steps from a run or tennis. There were many nights (when most people consider pretty late) I had to go for a run because my step count was really low. I started to run daily even after an afternoon of tennis. Overall, it was a great thing to have something, like step count, to tell me how little activity my body has gotten that day. It's the ultimate motivation. Well, beside competition (But I lost in the step tracker by over 100k steps...)
Now, the question is: Do I continue to wear a pedometer or Fitbit or Nike Fuelband? It may be the most beneficial for my health, especially for those days where the thought of running from death isn't enough.
