What a Strange Day Indeed

As I went to bed last night, I had one Peep left over from a package of six; I couldn't even believe I ate the first five since they are not very good. When I woke up, there were two Peeps in the package which I assumed my doppelgänger placed as an April Fools joke (it couldn't have been Scott since he's home). I have been wary of April Fools Days ever since first grade in Mrs. Rico's class; she "surprised" with a spontaneous gym class on a day when we wouldn't normally go to. Of course, the class lined up for it quickly without being suspicious of her motives only to be heartbroken and a bit enraged.
Since the first grade, I've seen plenty of terrible attempts at April Fools jokes. Many of them have included spiders and unbelievable lies. In the past, things that happen to me on March 31st have been amazing (Like last year) but fortunately/unfortunately nothing very exciting happened yesterday besides having had Cream of Wheat for the first time in my life; the previous years have been so bewildering that no one would ever believe it happened when I told people on April 1st.
I like to play a few April Fools joke myself of course; most of the time the responses are "Why would you make that an April Fools?" I guess I'm not very good at celebrating the holiday. It's the jokes that have potential truth to it that are the best jokes; or better yet, some truth to it. Google has been skillful at April Fool jokes (since they have the creditability, 2012, 2013):
I can't believe I waited so long for this.
Today, someone tried to trick everyone that today was "And also" Day which I didn't really understand the concept; people didn't mind since he brought in donuts for the horrible attempt at a April Fools.
This morning, I got ready for work as I did every Monday morning (eager and happy). As I put on my North Face jacket, I feel something in my pocket... It was an egg... And also, I didn't know if it was suppose to be a surprise Easter egg hunt or a really bad/good (haven't decided which yet) April Fool's prank. I'm was worried and excited about going home. I spent tons of energy thinking about all the possibilities...
I just wanted to sleep on my bed (with the exhaust about thinking of how many eggs are hidden in my room somewhere) so I go into my room and turns out that Peeps breed like rabbits; my room was filled with Peeps. And also, I found two more eggs... And the hunt continues through a room infested by peeps (hopefully for hard-boiled eggs...).
