White Elephant Gift Exchange, Gift Swap, Yankee Swap

The basic concept for White Elephant Gift Exchange, Gift Swap, Yankee Swap (whatever you want to call it) is a fun way to give gifts without having a specific person in mind. This allows people to be creative and not overspend/overthink.

Everyone brings a gift. Then people choose/steals gifts. The game can have limited number of steals and it can be clumsy to setup and organize the game.

So a friend, Dan Niceswanger, quickly wrote up the iPhone/iPad app, White Elephant Gift Exchange, for this purpose. (I helped in the slightest!) This app is really simple and does the job well. And a great icon from Aaron Robles!
