Will You Marry Me? -Facebook

As the pressure from my parent to find a suitable wife rises (maeby), I find that social networks often does not give any support; it can reinforce my parents' pressure. The past month I seemingly witnessed engagement or marriage news on my Facebook on a daily basis; most of them were foreseen, others were definitely unexpected.
Before Facebook, you would realize that all your friends are getting engaged/married by the wedding invites but you could just ignore those. Now, it's just a constant notice with social networks with status updates on the wedding process, congratulatory wall posts, and of course the pictures of weddings/rings that may take months to upload (which often turn to profile pictures). When will proposals actually occur on Facebook? It'll be more probable to be held on Google Hangout though.
The next stage in life: Babies. It's already started for a few Facebook friends. While it's great to see family and friends' children, I ask you this question: at what age does it become inappropriate/absurd to post photos of your children on Facebook? Maybe, I won't have to worry about that since Facebook is becoming more increasingly irrelevant.
