Work and Chairs and More! Oh no!
Work at today was very interesting. I had someone tell me to never leave orphans off by themselves. Of course this was in terms of taxonomy, but still even in context it was awkward. There are all sorts of strange behavior you see and hear in the open cubical atmosphere. Privacy does not exist in this environment, whether it's positive or negative, who knows.
Now to rant about chairs:
What I don't understand are chairs without headrests. Is it a luxury to have a headrest on desk chairs? How can one expect to be comfortable and have no head support at a computer for hours? This just doesn't make sense to me. I mean, my chair is pretty handy. The arms are adjustable and can rotate, the chair goes up and down, the back can swing freely or locked, and even the base of the seat can be moved forward and back. All it needs, is a headrest!
After a few wonderful nights of sleeping to the beautiful sound of ran, I now have to return to sleeping with the crazy insect noise here in the mid-west. It's peaceful... You know the sounds if you played Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing.
