The Worst Time

It's about that time again in my life. It is a period of time where I should replace some of my electronic devices. Well, I don't HAVE to replace my phone or laptop. Like with any purchase, you want to buy the best device and want to last a long time. But the waiting game for new devices is a dangerous game to play. You could possibly play that game forever (I played that game for about 2 years for my phone). You have to just take the plunge and buy the device. Technology is not going to stop just because you want the faster phone/laptop. And with the 1-Click button, it's easier than ever to just buy stuff instantly with no time to regret. (I did it a couple times the past couple days)
My phone is still going strong but restarts by itself about once a week. It takes a few seconds to open the most basic of applications like Twitter and Facebook. And with a upgrade available, I can upgrade when I choose. But with HTC and Samsung releasing phone in what seems to daily, it's hard to decide which device to upgrade to. Since I'm on T-Mobile, currently the HTC One S may be best choice. But a couple weeks ago, Samsung announced their next flagship phone, Galaxy S III. I've decided to wait for that device to be ported to T-Mobile and see what T-Mo does to it. But it should be great device and definitely a upgrade from the MyTouch 4G I have currently.
Like millions of college students will do this summer, I bought my first laptop before my freshmen year of college. I bought an expensive Macbook Pro (First Macbook with the Intel processor) when it was not as a popular choice as it is today. People couldn't understand why I would spend so much on a laptop. But I knew my Macbook Pro would be dependable and would last a good period. Five years later, I'm still on this beast of a machine. It has outlasted most of my peers' laptop. And it has served me well and keeps on doing it. While admittedly it has become slower due to regular use and applications taking more resources, it has passed my expectations. But it is time to look at a new machine. Just as I look at other laptops, rumors start with the new generation of Macbook Pro! Retina display, thinner, faster, Intel's Ivy Bridge, and overall better! It all sounds great but I'll wait until WWDC to decide if I want to upgrade to another Macbook Pro.
I don't want to play the waiting game anymore!
