Wow! That's A Low Price!

As a groups of us go out for an adventure for dinner last night to a hide-away Bourbon restaurant, we were instantly rejected by the lack of seating and lack of hide-away. It seemed the hide-away spot we hope for was actually very popular, seemingly that reservations are a common thing there. Since we were in the middle of the city of Fort Wayne, we could just walk to the many (not really) restaurants in the "city". We chose to go to Dash-In, which is a great small restaurant, with grilled cheese on their menu. The last time I got a grilled cheese with bacon and apple, which was a bit weird with the apple but still decently delicious. The best part may be that they do have Magic Hat #9 on tap, and a decent selection of other beers. This was just the beginning of a good night.
Then, we decided to go bowling. We decided to go to a bowling alley we haven't been to before. So we decided to go Pro West Bowling, which is a cozy place. It reminds me of a plaza close to home, with a dollar store and such. This bowling alley was in a plaza of "The Keep" (I need to find out what that is!), a casino, and a bar with what looked like lots of pool table and crazy amounts of dart boards. And this is not even mentioning that I passed a Little Caesars on the ride there. Yes, the pizza place! Bringing back all the memories of childhood like Ann & Hope. But to the bowling alley, as with every alley, there were smokers to greet you. Not having any expectations for this (or anything, it's much better going into anything without expectations I've learned), I was pleasantly surprised about the amount the people at the alley. Fort Wayne didn't seem to be a big bowling place to me but I guess was wrong. The best part was the amazingly low price, $10 for a hour for a lane. My first thought was it was per person, BUT NO!, it was the price for everyone! What a great deal! Especially for a Friday Night. But the cost of rental shoes were average, but I have decided to invest in bowling shoes. I've been saying this for years but this time I WILL! My only complaint is the lack of hip hop music or just music in this case.
The bowling wasn't the only cheap thing. The pitchers of beer were also a great price for a Friday night. To end the night we played three games of pool, only to have every game abruptly by a scratch or 8 ball.
Definitely a place I would visit again. And hopefully go the bar with the pool tables and dart boards too. Maybe even Little Caesars or the Family Video.
