Youngster Look

Go to amusement parks and you'll encounter someone yelling "I can guess your age or you get a prize!" If the prizes were better, I would participate more often; I have never left the "game" without a stuffed animal. Just look how old I look above! So many grey hairs... Did you know I dye my hair really dark brown once a month?
Ever since probably the fourth grade, I've looked younger than other people of the similar age. It's been a curse at times but mostly I have learned to appreciate my stunning good looks.
Most recently, a teenager that was fundraising knocked on my door and asked "Are your parents home?". My response was "No", an extremely honest answer (My parents are still in Rhode Island). My boyish physical characteristics gave me an escape from most likely a poorly fundraising rant selling products that I have no interest in purchasing.
Before our first tennis match (18+ 3.0/3.5 league) four high schoolers told the rest of the team where they were attending college next year, then everyone looked at me expecting me to follow suit but they were astonished to find out I work full time and graduated college two years ago (impressed that I was an engineer). After my last match, one of my opponents spoke about of drinking beer, attempting to exclude me but to his surprise, I could join him. Then, the coordinator of the league congratulated my partner and me on our win and asked what college we were planning on attending next year... (props to my partner who is in his thirties)
I remember being a teenager and passing for under 10 years old so my parents told get a discount to certain place (Movies, amusement parks, etc). At least, you can prove your age if there is a minimum age. Though once at a UConn bar, Thirsty Dog, they refused to believe I was 21 and said all my forms of identification were fake (including a health insurance card with my DOB. Who carries a fake insurance card?!). I've been IDed for rated R movies multiple times over the past year.
I think I'm losing my ability to tell the age of others. This is probably because I'm not longer surrounded by people of similar ages like in school. Sometimes, I think I'm still 20 years old with the wisdom of a 80 year old. I do have a spirit of a youngster and maybe that is what is the reason for my youthful appearance. Should be even more satisfying as years pass by!
